The Chrysalis Wellness Centre started with a dream to treat the body, mind, and soul. A place where the energy of nature would replenish our spirits, reconnect us to our higher source. A place to encourage us to draw upon our own inner strength so we may walk the path of life we choose to walk.

We are entering a time therein that modern medicine is succeeding statistically with only 15% of patients because most illness is caused by unresolved emotions, stress and trauma in the body. We are playing a game of hit and miss with medication. If we can combine what we know of modern medicine with holistic healing, we can find a way to communicate with our bodies and learn that nothing is more vital for healing than love.

Kimberley Arseneault

Mary Kimberley Arseneault was born and raised in Saint John, New Brunswick. She had her own painting and cleaning business for 18 years.

When health issues forced her look outside the modern medical system, she discovered the field of holistic healing. The success and happiness Kim felt through her own journey to health and well-being, led her to devote her life to bringing this experience to others.

Kim helps and encourages others to reconnect to their own healing energy. By holding space with others, she helps them release their unresolved stresses and trauma so that they may discover the potential they have to heal themselves.

Training in Reiki and Body Communication encouraged Kim to learn more about anatomy, to better understand the way energy moves through the body. This led her to become a certified reflexologist in 2009. She completed her Reiki Master/Teacher Training in 2010. Kim is also trained in CranioSacral Therapy by the Upledger Institute.

Kimberley is now a Naturopathic Consultant.

Naturopathic is a distinct system of primary health care - an art, science, philosophy and practice of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of illness. Naturopathic is distinguished by the principles which underlie and determine its practice. These principles are based upon the objective observation of the nature of health and disease, and are continually reexamined in the light of scientific advances. Methods used are consistent with these principles and are chosen upon the basis of patient individuality. Naturopathic physicians are primary health care practitioners, whose diverse techniques include modern and traditional, scientific and empirical methods.

The Chrysalis

The chrysalis holds a very deep meaning for us, because it illustrates what it means to transform oneself beyond our dreams.

Before it becomes a butterfly a caterpillar goes through a growth stage during which it is called a chrysalis. On the surface it may not look like much is happening, but the delicate chrysalis process changes the fuzzy caterpillar into a butterfly with wings of intricate designs and intense colors. The chrysalis process symbolizes how love can transform you into something beyond your dreams. It happens when you grow beyond yourself, opening your life to universal power and love.

When Kim touches my feet, I can feel my stress just melt away.
